Currently some place travelling the world with my boyfriend, Guy.

When we first met,  Guy and I were at university, so money was tight from the get go. We were able to enjoy ourselves (and actually managed a holiday at the end of our second year!) with the help of the internet's knowledge on money saving, money making, student deals and freebies. 

Once we had graduated, it was time to grow up and be responsible. Ready to move into the adult workforce, we had no idea what was about to hit us. After a few ups and downs and with the help of some family members, we had moved into our own rented home and Guy found a job almost immediately. I, however, found it extremely difficult to find work. I applied for hundreds of jobs, heard back from very few, and interviewed at even fewer. I was distraught, and on one minimum wage income, we were struggling. 

I decided enough was enough and knew that, with the help of the internet once again, I would be able to make at least some money online, and gave self employment a go. It was slow going at first, but now I will never look back. My earnings have gone up over the last few years and I'm happy to now be in a position that we can do what we love most, travel the world, whilst earning money as we go.

Whenever I meet new people, catch up with old friends or have conversations with family, many are surprised to learn that I am self employed and make all of my money online. And not just make money, but always finding freebies, trialing products, winning competitions and receiving gift vouchers. One day my mum told me about the blog of a popular money saver and said to me, "You should do this, I'm sure you know more!"

So here I am, ready to share my knowledge of making money, saving money, and making money go further. 

I hope that it'll help anyone also struggling, even if in some small way.
